Front Plates.....
Hello,
So cops in CT are starting to hammer down on the needing the front plate these days. Roomate has been pulled over twice for it and given warnings. I have been putting off mounting mine as I am not sure how/where to mount it. Was wondering if you all could post pics of where you have yours mounted. Tring to find a nice clean look, so it is not that obvious that i needed to drill/bolt it on.

i have mine set up for a removable plate... no visible means of attachment when off...
1. get yourself some angle brackets (about 1.5-2") from any hardware store, and some good self-tapping screws (with nice deep thread)
2. remove the center plastic lower grille (yank on it)
3. position your angle brackets so they come forward, then up (in line with the bottom holes of the plate
4. drill a pilot hole, then screw up into the under-top-side of the lower air duct. make sure the angle brackets extend enough to clear your bumper (vertical portion of the brackets) by at least .25"
5. attach the plate, put the center lower grille back in, and drive to get your ticket signed off.
sorry i dont have pics... i hope my dumb descriptions made sense.
