am i wasting money since i don't need the tire? Do you think i could find a better deal on just the rim. This doesnt change my interest but if you think i could save money by not buying the tire also please let me know.

I believe that the Stock S4 rim is ~$400 new like all the other 17 inch rims. Check out www.clairparts.com

As for the tire, I could use it as a spare, and save you $9 in shipping, but it'll cost me ~$15 to remove it.

The Pirelli tire is worth ~$120+ new...and it has plenty of miles on it.

It's up to you. The tire is in great shape, never tracked, and bubble/puncture free.
