Default Fuel Line Leaking (Why?)

So... my fuel line started leaking the other day (the connection to the fuel rail). I understand this is a common thing in cold weather. I can get a new line from ECS but I'm trying to understand why it's doing it - what's to keep the new one from leaking? I thought about just making a new line but the fitting is, of course, some uncommon size. If anybody has any insight into this or has any alternate ways to fix it that would be better than the "hope the new one fixes it" method, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I was able to replace the hose clamp and it stopped leaking. Did not need to change the fuel line.

It looks like mine is leaking from the fitting. It seems to be a pretty common thing with these cars when it gets cold. When I pulled the hose off the fuel rail it looked like there is a little corrosion but I wouldn't think it would leak. Idk.

Would not drive the car until the leak is fixed. Never know when it might start a fire or worse.
