Funny incident today while at Pizza Hut here in snowy Jersey...(Long)
I was pulling into one of the spaces at the minimall @ my local Pizza Hut and load and behold I took a glance @ the 2 dr. played out civic right next to me. His car had the engine running and on the passenger seat I see a small flame! I thought my eyes were playing games with me, but I realized his car was catching fire!! I moved my car about 8 spaces away just 4 safety and ran 2 the bagel shop in the same mall to find the owner, but no one was in sight. I ran back 2 the civic and saw all the plastic melting off the dash and went to the Chinese restaurant in the same mall. Luckily, I found the owner and his dumbass tried to open the door to the ball of fire and feed it more oxygen!! We tried calling 911 but it was busy for some reason (where r they when u need them???). A crowd now gathered about 20 ft from his burning civic. I left him and parked my car about 1\2 block away @ the Walgreens where I work. When I went 2 pickup my pizzas, they were not ready so I took a peek outside (just in time) to see a small explosion (his airbags exploding) and the Grand Cherokee next to it ablaze!! Guess what?? Still no fire dept. or sirens 4 that matter!! My pizzas were finally ready and I had 2 walk in foot deep snow just 2 get 2 my car. When I left, the fire dept and police were ariving simulataneously but for what?? The car was already fried to the ground and so was the Cherokee (and the nearest house where the civic was parked could have caught fire). To make a long story short, good thing i noticed that his played out civic was catching fire or my A4 would had been burnt crispy KFC style!!
