Default FYI

Was at paul miller audi today.

They told me that they have a 3 week wait for servicing. Gee that really helps. I mean I can really predict my car's problems nearly a month in advance. Also I like to drive around with a problem for a good 3 weeks before I get it fixed, just to make sure it isnt going to fix itself.

Oh Paul Miller also wanted $22 for a 12v oil filter. DCH charges $11.66 with tax. Gotta love that extra 100% markup on a part that costs them like maybe $3.

As much as I hate DCH audi in maplewood I guess I am stuck with them for now.

Default Many dealers will take "repairs" immediately, but routine service requires an appointment

Just like if you went to the doctor or dentist... if you have a problem they will take you immediately (you'll have to wait in the waiting room). But if you just want a checkup, then it's a month for an appointment.

I assume that they factor last-minute repairs into their service schedule.

And BTW, my dealer will do an oil change without an appointment. (Full service requires an appointment, but a simple LOF is a 20 minute service.)

Good luck,
Peter

Default I've actually had pretty decent service with my Audi Dealership..

They have been very courteous, quick to diagnose problems, and are pretty relaxed when it comes to repairs under the Assured Warranty. And the longest it has taken to book out an appointment was 3-4 days.
