FYI - Fuel Filter be VERY CAREFUL with the lower banjo fitting fuel line!
Using a pair of channel locks I grazed the fuel line from the bottom banjo fitting and instantly made a mist of fuel appear from a hairline cut in the plastic line.
I'm pretty sure the line would have split just from wiggling that filter free. The slit in the line was at the point the fuel line stretches over to mate up with the male fitting on the banjo.
FYI inspect your lines for weather marks. There was enough slack in the fuel line to pull off the fitting, cut the line back and slip back on. What a frustrating fuel soaked afternoon that was. Thanks for all the help Kris!
