Default Gidday

I'd just like to introduce myself...have been reading this board for the last couple weeks, didn't join until today BECAUSE...TODAY...I BOUGHT MY AUDI!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I just gotta wait for it to be delivered...

Anyway as you can see I'm an Aussie...we get really excited over new cars here cos they COST SO DAMN MUCH. Don't ask.

Anyway I hope to share a few stories and get some help when needed from you fellow A4 drivers...I got a lt silver A4 1.8T with tiptronic...after 10 years driving a manual i finally got sick of it since most of my driving is spent in traffic.

Anyway, if any one has any "First things to do/get" tips I'd be glad to hear em...I pick up the car in 2 weeks...so lay it on me

Glad to be a member

Carlo

AUDI AUDI AUDI OI OI OI

PS: $700 ($350US) bucks for an armrest...they gotta be kidding right???

Default Welcome aboard!!!

You're gonna love the A4... I own a "tipTronic" also. I've had her for almost 4 months now... and I have nothing bad to say.

Default I'd grab you all a plane ticket but...

With the $AUD at its current levels, I'd be able to buy an S8 with that money instead

Infact using (given the currency) some simple maths, Im convinced I'd be able to sell my A4 next year for more than i paid for it Not that im going to sell it of course.

Plus i gotta save for the armrest.

Well best I can do is a picture of my Audi in one of Australia's hotspots...'ll keep you posted

Cheers
Carlo

Take a drive from Melbourne to Adelaide on the Great Ocean drive...should be waaaay better (I loved it) than in the Nissan bluebird I rented (oops, I meant to say "hired") in 1995.

Default ALL Australians are uncommonly funny...I have a lot of experiance in this area...they're a riot

to go out to clubs with and such, the chicks dig the accent too.
