Default Gonna DIY replace my coolant resevoir Saturday morning. Anybody have any tips?

Seems pretty straight forward - but if there is any advice or tips, pass 'em on.

My current resevoir has some cracks...

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/2355698.phtml</a

Default very easy. Most people disconnect it for oil changes

Drain the coolant then its just 3 screws. Unclip the wires from undernneath and disconnect the hoses and your all set. Then work backwards through the steps.

Default seems straight forward, remove 3 screws, unplug sensor wire...

unclamp two hoses...catch coolant(or turkey baster it out beforehand)

i believe the 2.8 tank is the same as the 1.8t tank btw.

Default what I'd do

drain coolant from bottom of radiator on drivers side... rear of radiator.

drain it just enough so that the coolant tank is empty.

replace bottle

fill with half water/coolant mixture.

Default even easier, just pop the small hose off of the tank, since you need to anyway...

let it drain out into your waiting container... you'll want a hose clamp and a cork/bolt/something to block the hoses after you remove the tank..

Me either, because my split tank spewed all of the coolant out beforehand! :-D
