Good Balance and Fader Settings

BOSE or non?
On non bose, I like Balance +1 right, Fader +2 Rear.
On bose, I like Balance 0, Fader +2 Front.
In my opinion, the non-bose stereo has much better sound imaging than the bose. The bose system projects a sound image behind your headrest it seems. Fader to the front helps but does not solve things. For some reason, the rear door speakers on the bose wreaks havoc with the sound staging. Real weird. Also, setting fader +2 to the rear on the non-bose will not only improve the sound staging (?) but it seems the rear speakers can handle the bass much better and you'll be able to play the non-bose at higher volumes with less distortion. Then again, these are my ears I'm using. Get your own!
