Default Got Brinsley Back.

Problems fixed.

Clutch-(old one was toast) Southbend OFE and OEM fly.

Oil Leak-(Glad they found that, I would have hated to pay another shop to fix that)

Vaccume problems-(Apparently there was a down the road slit about 3 inches long)

Impressions of the Clutch so far.

Harder to drive, but not something I wont get used to by tomorrow. Alot more grab than a slipping OEM.

Also, The with the vaccume hose fixed its a whole new car. I must have been prexhisting because I lost traction with the wheels (getting used to the new clutch) and that was alot less than possible before.

So my question is What driving actions cause vaccume leaks, because this isnt something I want happeneing again (not that it seems hard to fix)

Thanks AW

Default you gotta let the new clutch break in..time is the worst thing for the vacum lines

driving style doesnt really affect them. they are a rubber compound so heat and weather will make them wear overtime.

Default I know about the break in. It was a total accident (the loss of traction)

Thanks man.

Default Resurfaced (but not mine, mine was shot)

guy got me a deal for $170. Said they normally would have marked it up to $300 (half of new) but they knew I had no way of paying that, and they were understanding.

Grand Total
$415 - clutch kit
$300 - Labor
$170 - Flywheel.
