Got hit by a kid in a honda, many pics
Well Saturday night im sitting in a restaurant eating some dinner with my girlfriend and the people next to us get up to leave, they were really wierd, staring a lot and everthing. Im sitting by the window and i look up to see what car they were in and it was an old maroon honda civic POS. I parked my car away from it purposefully, in the row behind it. The kid stalled it on his first try backing out. He had trouble getting going and floored it, BAM right into my car. I run out the restaurant and hes tryin to drive off and I run out in front of the car. He gets out and I let him know that he fvcked up big time. Luckily he has insurance. Got an estimate today and im getting 2400 dollars. The headlight is cracked, new front bumper, new fender, new bumper shocks, respray on the hood, wheel alignment and a few other things i think. Im probably not gonna do the respray on the hood because its a very small scratch that wont be visible when the headlight is in correctly. Im planning on getting an S4 or RS4 front or maybe an Oettinger. Do you guys think that this is a good estimate? I thought it was extremely genorous. I just had it in last week to get a broken CV boot fixed and the dealership had a bunch of greasy crap on my wheel and i havent cleaned it off yet. You can kind of see the damage to the headlight in a few pics. <img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/46542/dscf0231.jpg">

have body shop do the fender, pick up an RS4 front and have them spray it
pay for the rest (bumper shocks, alignment, etc.) with the rest of the cash. oh and get ecodes. maybe you'll have enough left for a CF hood. ;-P

same type of accident happened to my 90. this is why you need to park 2 rows away.
bumper cover and headlight look as if they could be fixed without replacing them. cover can be sanded and painted. headlight just looks like it needs new clips. If you're ins. co. is willing to buy new, get that check ASAP.
get at least 2 estimates from body shops to compare.
