Default Groaning noise 2600-3400 RPM.... Cured!!!
Today I got around to replacing my TT BPV for a new TT BPV. So, 43 bucks later (dealership price went up) and a couple dings in the hands, the problem is fixed. I am planning on running a VAG on it tomorrow to make sure there is nothing else awry.

Can anyone think of anything I might have damaged while driving for 2 weeks with a blown BPV?

Everything seems to be back to normal.

2001.5 A4 1.8T QSMC -- x-chip

Default I was reading that those can go just as easy as the TT
So, I decided to go for 40 bucks a pop rather than 140. Am I right or should I upgrade? It took about 2 years for this one to go.

I know it much cheaper with it, but that eliminate a possibility when come to boost leaking

Upgrade...the hyperboost is lightyears ahead of the TT BPV.
