Default With the GTRS being almost 1600$

With the GTRS being almost 1600 and the Full frame gt28rs only 1100$ I can get the 28rs for a little cheaper even when adding a manifold to the gtrs and a manifold and new downpipe for the full gt28rs. I have a 99.5 FWD 5 speed. Is the 28rs a better way for me to go? Because I would like to keep stock rods. I know this has been gone over one hundred times and i've read a lot but never been answered. Can I have your input? Thanks!

Try the Tex or QW , there are very few people who comment on tuning issues here anymore.

I have driven both and there really isn't all that much difference in power and spool up. Now if you push a T25 or T3 GT28rs then yes it can make more power then the Elim kits. You will spend more money going with the full body then you will the Elim. Another option for you would be the Frankenturbo since it makes power like a GT28r which will be plenty for your FWD.

Ehh I rather go with something thats been out for longer and has off the shelf tunes for it unlike the FT, plus its only making 270-280 bhp. With the full gt28rs you can go bigger if you wanted without changing your whole setup unlike the eliminator. So honestly its between GTRS elim. kit or T3 gt28rs. hmm.
