Default OT: out of curiosity... how much money do you raise usually from the auction?

I'm in SAE in Binghamton, NY and we desperately need to do some community service... might be a good idea if you made some loot.

Default Thats not bad... we've kinda gotten on the bad side of my school's administration

over the years and now they are making us redeem ourselves So I figure some fundraising might be good.

Default I bet you I got an inline four that would put your american muscle into shame =)

1.2L of high reving "rice" ---> 2K1 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-12R

Of course, this race would be just as unfair as comparing a Camaro SS with an A4 1.8T won't it? I'll even give you a 1 second headstart for the 1/4!!!

In all honesty, the Camaro SS is incredibly fast. Hell, it almost caught up to me on the highway when I used to ride my ZX-6R, but it's not quite as invincible as you want to make it seem.

Oh yeah, unless your car has some serious mods, you need some new tires if you're chirping when you open up the throttle in 4th.

Default Shouldnt you be on www.thirdgen.org???

I think you're on the wrong forum. While i dont doubt the abilities of a 315 horsepower 5.7 liter LS-1, its just not what we're into. If that were the case, we ALL could have saved about ten GRAND and got a Camaro SS. This board is about "tight" german cars- and the agility, handling, speed, craftsmanship, style and driving pleasure that comes with ownership. Is NOT about pushrod, iron-block, gas-guzzling, plastic-adorned, poorly styled, poorly-handling, soon-to-be extinct cars (when is the ax falling on the F-body, anyway??). I can respect anyone's choice of car, and wouldnt be so harsh here... its just that your posts are always so damn negative. If you wanna **** all over everything, do it in the trailer park, or on thirdgen.org. TIA.

here ya go <showing you the door>
