Default harness question

you're supposed to have the belts go straight back and attach to a bar, right? and making the belts go down at an angle behind the seats is bad...

i found this picture which shows a bar to attach the belts to, but who makes them? i think i'm going to go with the top spin harnesses, but they don't make a bar like this to go with them. anyone know of any?

Default you can bolt them into the rear seats seat belt bolts as well

and not need the bar at all. then you can get the harnesses that detach so the rear seats are still useable

Default TopSpin CF Bracket

TopSping makes a CF shoulder harness bracket instead.
It mounts to your headrest, and allows you to bolt the belts straight down behind the seat.

It works great, and eliminates the need for the bar in the trunk.

Email if you have any questions.

Default the ones im talking about have something built into them

i'm having a total brain fart, but here's the gist. you wreck, the harnesses obviously tense up. there is like an extra inch or two under a plastic clip. when the harnesses get tense that fast (you wreck) it will keep you from sliding under anything. that being said, you really need a cage to be safe while using harnesses

Default I plan to do both.

now comes the issue of the belts being too long and if you flip over, you could stretch the belt enough to hit the roof = not good.

IMHO, a cage is the only way to do this right.

Default Doh.

Yeah it works great, and as long as you aren't Yao Ming or some similarly tall individual, the fitment is excellent.
