Has anyone done a single din to double din radio swap? with pics?

i'm pretty sure someone here just did
though it's not just swapping the radio -- you have to swap the entire console too.
best case scenario is that you have a 99.5 so that not ALL of the console has to be changed out.

i have the 1999 (first model) i think they call it the 1998 style 1999 and then
there is the 1999.5 which had the double din, and the small buttons for the fogs and hazards...there was a guy further down who made a new trim plate but looks like he has the 1999.5

nope, 99.5 was not double din
the console/buttons were the same as the MY2000+ B5s, but the radio was the concert, and thus single-din. as a result, the ash tray and HVAC unit sits a little lower in the '00-'01 and B5S4 consoles.
