has anyone ever run a ko4 without an exhaust? i'm talking...

about one of the less aggressive programs like neuspeed or abt. what would suffure, engine, turbo, performance?

I doubt an exhaust is necessary for a K04vif PES doesn't say

it's necessary for a T-28. I'm sure it helps, but isn't necessary.

You can have a full Borla Catback for $500...

Stock exhaust is too restrictive...

hey, man... do you have an EFK already? Me and a couple other people are trying to orgainize a GB through SPP. Eric said $140 shipped for the kit with 10+ orders.

It will be fine, but your losing out...

less power, higher EGTs as well...

The KO4 kits don't make too much power over a KO3, and the ratings we see are with an exhaust on the car.

So figure, absent other stuff, a solid 20hp boost from a KO4?

A Borla is a perfect exhaust for a KO4 when you keep your OEM cat (remember the OEM cat has a 2.25 outlet, so having a 2.25" exhaust is perfectly fine)...and a Borla may be obtained for ~450 or so?
