Has anyone put the steering wheel center cover from a TT on an A4?

Has anyone put the steering wheel center cover from a TT on an A4?

Default Well, that cover has the airbag attached to it....

....so that could be an issue.

But it's held on with two torx screws...look at the bakeside of the wheel and you'll see the screws. Remove them and the cover comes right off. You have to disconnect the airbag wire next and then that piece is out.

Default You'll need the whole steering wheel. $$$$$$$..

I tried putting a 99 sport airbag in my 97 (sport wheel). The steering wheels ae different. Look at about $450 for the wheel. And about $799 for the airbag.
