Default replaced mine but not for easier servicing, more for boost

As far as i know diverter valves are pretty much maitenance free, i've heard of some people getting a little oil in them, and you might want to take a hose off and check for oil every once and a while. and if you were to put it by the brake resivoir, it's totally possible, heck i'll help you do it but you'll get more turbo lag due to more piping.

Default heard closer to the TB was the best spot for performance

should be easy to get at there as well.

Default Might be wise/easier to keep it *somewhere* near the intake piping.

We've got more than enough intake piping in our engine bays as it is...any more and it turns into the Nile.
