having trouble shifting into gears - 99.5 A4TQ 5 speed

its not grinding, but sometimes you have to give it a little extra push to go into gear, right before it goes in its like youve hit a wall.

anyone have a similar expierience?

mine does that when its cold out..

i plan on changing gear oil at next audi club tech session

common, especially when cold. Sometimes giving it a little gas helps it go into gear

I have Redline fluid and mine still does that

Double cluching makes it easier. Shift to neutral than shift to the gear, gotta do it kinda quick though. Or just let your car warm up for ~5 minutes.
