Head Lamp Upgrade (HELP!)
Hello fellow A4 owners...I have a 97 Audi A4 1.8T ...and I really hate the nasty headlamps, I was wondering where and what kinda of upgrade can I get? I saw an awesome 2 piece head lamp with a projector on a newer A4, but I talked to an Audi rep and he said its not an OEM part? whatever it looked good and it fit on that A4, so can it fit on mine? hopefully someone can help...thanks

i personally upgraded my 2pc 98 headlights to the newer 1pc European 'Ecode' HID Xenon lamps. i love the output and the look. makes the whole car look brand new. the only drawback is that some of the fender needs to be cut to allow room for the newer light. I have two piece valeo's with xenon upgrade.......
I love the set up. The two piece projectors w/ clear corners I got for $315. The Xenon upgrade is from LLtek, (probably the only thing that LLtek did an okay job on). I love the setup, it looks awesome. The 1 piece headlamps have to be rewired and you have to "cut" the fender area to install them. It is about a 4-5 hour job and you should know what your doing with it. Go for the 2 piece.

Get the ecodes from ECS. Good price, single piece. Sure they are harder to put in, but from everything I have heard they are well worth it. Mine come tomorrow and I will soon be cutting my fenders to toss those bad boys in.
