Default Headlight problem

I currently have no low beam headlights. The dealer said it was the switch but I just replaced it and they are still not working. What could be the issue?

Likely the combination switch. There is a spring-loaded brass piece in it that is the headlight switch. This is slid back and forth to make or break the connection when you move the headlight stalk. Mine had obviously overheated and stuck in the partially-melted plastic holder. The solution was to carefully trim away the plastic with an Xacto knife, until the brass was free to move again, plus polish and lube the contact surfaces.

You'll have to take the airbag/steering wheel/clock spring off to get at it. I'd suggest having a camera handy as you take it apart!

I should have asked, but you mentioned that the switch was changed; did you do it or did the dealer say that they did? Just asking, I don't always trust them. You can test the switch without taking it out, by checking for 12V power to the lighting switch at pin #2 (ignition on), and power going out to the low-beams at pin #10 of the 14-pin connector, with the light switch in the "on" position. If you have voltage at both pins, possibly the common ground for the low beams is bad.
