headlights

Has anyone had a problem with the headlights blowing out. Just replaced drivers side, and couple of weeks later passenger side went out. I have a 99.

I'm assuming you don't have Xenon.. But, the H7 is notorious for its short life

Halogens (like most) burn out fast, especially if its not clean

Whats the average lifespan on an halogen. Because car is only a year old.

Don't touch the actual bulb with your fingers. The oil from your skin will make them burn out.

yes i have had several problems...after my headlight assemblies were replaced both low beams went out within a month....The first one came back on with a little carefully directed banging on top of the housing but proceeded to go out a week later. Same for the second. The dealer said that somethimes the bulbs are jarred or bumped in shipment which can cause them to have unusally short lifespans...
