heated mirror draining battery. anyone had this problem.
recently my car's battery would drain overnight as soon as the cold weather started. i started taking out fuses overnight and found that this is caused by my heated mirrors. so i left the fuse out and it didnt bother me too much until it started to snow. anyone had this problem. could it be the mirror or could it possibly be a relay.

Or at least a water level check.
Note also that there's a TSb on failed mirrors, though it related to the failure of the elements to come on, not a failure of them to turn off.

http://steve-hall.com/audi-tsb/tsb/a660004.pdf</a

Mine certainly isn't, but when PhilThrottle went to check his water level this weekend
he found that it had no fill caps at all, so perhaps some have maintenance free and some don't. =/
