Default Heating Problems Again *PLEASE HELP!!!*

I thought I fixed my heating (or lack thereof) last month, but I think I spoke too soon.

I flushed the coolant and heater core and my heat worked for a little while, but it recently got cold (for Texas). Here are the symptoms:

After car warms up, heat comes out for about 5 sec and then turns cold/luke warm on highest setting.

I checked the core and both lines are warm to the touch. When I squeeze the lines, it feels like there isn't much pressure.

Coolant level might be a little low...didn't fill up after I flushed the core.

Fan is blowing and A/C works.

TIA for your help!

Default run a diagnostic on your climate control module.

it will tell you if any of your flap motors are whacked.

Default Check for codes. If code is found, clear code(s) and run basic settings on block 004

Then recheck for codes.

Good luck...

Default $300 bucks for a heater core flush? WOW! I want in on that action.

remove rain tray: 60 seconds
remove plastic cover to reveal heater hoses: 60 seconds
remove 2 heater hoses: 60 seconds
hook garden hose to inlet: 30 seconds
turn on hose and let run for 3 minutes
hook it all back up: 3 minutes
dump coolant out of the radiator: 2 minutes
refill and bleed system: 10 minutes
paperwork and taking your money: 3 minutes
lubing you up and bending you over the bonnet: 5.5 minutes

materials: $30
time: 30 minutes @ $270

what am I missing?

Default Very easy...

Flushing heater core is pretty simple...took about 15min. There's a write up in the tech section.

I had my mechanic flush the coolant; didn't want to deal with the mess. Heat is luke warm...never gets really hot.
