Heating problems.
Hey guys, I am still trying to figure out my heating problem, and it is getting extremely frustrating. I have no heat at idle, but heat comes up when i am on the throttle, but it is nothing impressive. I left the cap off and tried to get the system to purge, but nothing. The upper radiator hose is warm, but the lower hose is stone cold, and has no pressure it seems. I am guessing I either have a clogged heater core or a bad thermostat? Any help would be great here guys..I plan on changing the thermostat and doing a coolant flush this weekend, but I would like to here some sugggestions.

I have same issue after T-stat change. I'm now to partially blocked heater core
At low fan speeds, its a fairly good hot temp but takes forever to heat the inside of the car up. But raise the fan speed and its luke warm and I'll never get a confortable temp if its 15 outside. There just doesn't appear to be enough hot coolant to heat lots of air flow.
Climate Control diagnostic says everything is OK, so it doesn't look like a flab problem. Since I'm getting some heat, it looks like I only have a little coolant getting through the heater core.
So, this may be your problem too.
I had a coolant change done last March shortly after getting the car but I have the feeling they only did a drain and fill. I should probably do a more thorough flush with the additive to break up deposits. Of course thats not happening in this weather.

I have the same exact problem. I am also thinking the heater core needs to be flushed. I am hopefully going to try that this weekend and I'll report back.
