Hello all...over from the TT forum and have a question for a friend of mine>>>
he is looking to sell his 2001 A4 Avant Quattro, automatic, sunroof, leatherette interior, 1.8T, 30,000 miles and just had the $30K service completed...what is the going resale for this car if he sells it. No damage, never wrecked and in fine condition.

sport or non-sport?
is it a 01 or 01.5?
and of course if it's silver, it's worth more simply because it's faster!

You didn't mention if your friend has Xenon, Cold Weather or Sports installed
IMO, Xenon should be worth more than Sports and Cold Weather. It is strange for an entry lux. car to not have HIDs.
Also, not too many people want a 1.8T w/ automatic. So, you are not going to find too many enthusiast interested in the car. Your hope will be a soccer mom who is into German car and wants an automatic AND wagon at the same time.
I'll say around $24k??
