Default Killington is not far superior to anything, unless all you care about is apre ski...

The only time I go to K is when I get a free ticket. Actually, I only go skiing at all when I can score free tix.

Okemo has better grooming and snow making, and fewer a-holes.

Killington has some fun trails, but they're usually so icy and scraped off that it's no fun.

The best runs going there are off of the Canyon chair/K1. Bear MTN is boring unless you can fly on the long runs. I usually bring my DH boards and rip Bear Claw.. But there's usually too many spuds clogging the trails to ski that fast.

Default it's 900 feet long, with a vertical of nearly 200.

Default ive been to both as well as other area mountains and i just enjoy killington the most.

opinions are like... well you know the rest

at the same time im in a similar boat with free or heavily discounted tickets. and i ususally only make the 6 hr trip during a blizzard. cause we all know quattro and snowtires are FTW

if i wanted to shred ice id go to mountain creek

i like the trails and onsite resort ammenities at killington as well. but that downtown type area at okemo is very cool.
