A pesky coin got stuck in my ash tray. In my effort to remove it, I made things worse. I accidently removed the spring mount. Now the ash tray doesn't open by itself. Anyone have any experience removing the entire tray? I found that the instructions posted in this forum are only for 99.5 models (or earlier), and as a result I couldn't find the clips everyone keeps talking about. I'm guessing the ash tray component has changed considering that the cigarette lighter is now next to the parking brake. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

99.5 has the same ashtray as the 2000. if there's an article for 99.5, should work.

I tried it I couldn't find any metal clips! Besides the 99.5 has the lighter with the ash tray. In the 2000 they're seperate.
