help with this code please
P1392 Camshaft Pos.Sensor,Bank2 Open Circ./Short to B+
CEL came on, ran VAG-COM and this is the only engine fault code that came up.
i replaced the hall sensor, but still get the code and CEL came back on.
it's a 1999 2.8, and runs fine, but it's been sitting in garage since the CEL came on. this is a good time for me to change the valve cover gaskets until i figure out this code, any thoughts?

I'd start by checking the wiring to the cam adjuster (located at the driver's side front)...
Make sure the wiring is not damaged and that it is plugged in tight. Clear the code and see if it comes back.
