help on e code install
just installed my ecodes today and used a relay to turn on my city lights and off when the H I D lights come on. i just installed everything on a euro headlight housing using the SPW H7 HID kit as well. looks awesome but i get a headlight error symbol on my instrumental panel. oops i forgot, i have a 2000 audi A4. it works fine but that symbol is a pain to look at. any remedies?

Both the lows are actually working, right?
I thought the headlight symbol only popped up when the car couldn't complete a circuit to the low beam bulb or something like that...aka a wire is cut or a bulb is out.

that's what i thought, but both lows are working just fine, i let it stay on for about 30 minutes and everything is fine except the stupid symbol. anything i can do?

Maybe check all your taps...
...and other places you cut into the OEM low beam wire...make sure there is nothing else touching it that could be shorting it? Those are the only ideas i have. good luck.

i have a wire that i tapped from the low beam to go to a relay to deactivate the city light. i wired the relay like this. 85 to ground, 86 from low beam, 87a to city light positive, 30 from parking light. if i bypass the ballast and plug in the halogen light than the symbol dosn't apear. when i plug it back to the ballast for the HID, then the symbol comes back on..any more info??? i apreciate the help so far.

I dont have any actually...
i didn't use a reply when i wired my euros up. I wanted to rid of the orange corners completely...except when using my turn signal. So i did it my own way, sorry.

This is the result...
One click up is just the city lights, no orange corners (like below)...2 clicks up is the lows and the city lights together, no orange corners. Turn signals still blink though.
