<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/32259/winter_break_011.jpg"></center><p>I have a 2000 A4 1.8T M non bose,no cd changer.
i was wondering if i have the wire that runs to the trunk to connect a cd changer pre installed?
if so i want to get a blitzsafe adapter to connect my ipod to the stock headunit, is there anything else i need to get to make this setup work?
thanks

Default Re: Help with ipod setup

My experience is that if you don't have a particular option, you usually don't have the wiring for it either.

no, the cars are pre-wired for cd changers, which is what the blitzsafe taps into

Default i believe all A4s have the wire for the cd changer, even if you didn't get one.

as everyone else is saying, it's in your trunk. it's under where the toolbox is. you might have to fish around a little bit to find it. to help, i believe it's wrapped in grey foam.

So how much do the Blitzsafe adapters cost? I've been using a ghetto tape adapter for my MP3s.

Default I'll sell you mine for $60 shipped. I added a link inside to the adapter I have.
