Default help with new turbo. boost is there, but it doesn't stop...

put in a used k03, that was working perfectly before, so it's not the turbo's problem.

anyway, it boosts fine, but it doesn't stop boosting... it'll get up to 20+ if you don't watch it and then the car kind of hiccups and cuts power. i tried the chip in stock mode and it'll do the same thing, boosting up over 15(where i pulled back) in stock mode.

i've had a boost problem for the past year, right now i have the ECU disconnected... and i'm going to hook it back up in a few, but what does the problem sound like to you? any ideas?

Default Yes, check the hoses from the N75 to the wastegate & to the turbo...

make sure they are on & tight. Also make sure they are not reversed or kinked.

Default will do... when i got the turbo the nozzle to the N75 was busted from shipping

but i just had the guy installing it(i didn't actually get to help) take that piece off the old turbo and put it on the new one... i'm sure he put it on nice and tight and stuff though, but i'll see about checking the hoses.

thanks guys.

Could the N75 be installed wrong? Check orientation...

Default check the vac line from N75 to wastegate

I had that problem, it was pinched and the wastegate wouldn't open.
