Help with Pioneer XM (x-post)
I had to buy a new XM controller and tried to hook it up to my existing set-up and it would not power on??
I am using Blitzsafe adaptor from CD changer to Pioneer XM tuner.
The HU say CDC track 99 like it should, but there is no power to the controller. Do they have to be from the same package to work together (coded or something)? Is there any way to tell the tuner is getting power since there are no LED lights?
I tried hitting reset on the tuner and nothing happened.
Any ideas?

Weird, my controller has been doing that also
It will either stay on or not turn off. When I cant turn it off, none of the buttons work either.
I would trace the connection back to the reciever. Or unplug it from the reciever and back in. That usually fixed it for me. Hasn't happened lately though.
I also got the same setup as you. One thing I forgot, does the XM unit turn off when you turn your stereo off? Mine does not and I thought it did...
