HELP! UUC install in progress.

I've finally got the lower L-joint bolt out(after about 30 min.)and I'm starting the reinstall, and wondering where to use the lube prvided by UUC. It doesn't tell in the instructions. Also, are there any other tricks I need to know for the reinstall? Thanks in advance.

On the stock shifter it appeared that the lower L-joint had some lube on it also. It there anything

needed for the short shifter?

we put a little bit there on my UUC also, but it's mostly needed on the ball socket.

...to the right issue that the S4 one seems to have?

I adjusted mine so it leaned back and left with no problems engaging 1st or reverse.

This way 5th wasn't so far away and all gears were as close to me as possible.

Yes!

I've centered it as best as I can, however, if I try to get it completely vertical, then when I put it in first gear, the nut on the L joint touches the right "wall" down below. While shifting from 1-2, it scrapes that wall. I've got it adjusted so that it there is about 1 mm of clearance down below, so it's ever so slightly slanted to the right.

Visually, only the pickiest of people will ever be able to tell, and ergonomically, it's just perfect for me.
