Very faint, and you could only hear it if you stood their and listened...What can it be? I was really scared...and whenever I would turn the engine on and off, I would hear some weird GUZZLING noise in my car, as if all the gas or something was moving really fast from the front to the back?

Sorry...we just get this one a lot. You must have a quattro? The gas tank is U shaped as a result the fuel can slosh to one side causing an imbalance...there's a pump inside the tank whose sole purpose in life is to keep the left and right sides of the fuel tank at the same level. If you turn the ignition to ON not run but ON you can hear it quite clearly...esp if you had done some spirited driving where there were an unequal number of left and right handers and you caused a pile up of gas on one side of the tank...park it then turn the key to ON and you'll hear the GUZZLING sound you describe.

The beep as you call it is probably the fuel pump running...least it's not like an american car where it just whines like a ****.

sounds like the car is dumping fuel on the ground or something ;-)

It might be in the manual I dunno...though I've pretty much read that thing from front to back...esp the bits about towing (ahem). I think there is a pamphlet at the dealer that mentions this.

Yup, I kept looking on the ground expecting there to be gas everywhere!

So for sure nothing is wrong and doesn't deserve a visit to the dealer? (****, I got made fun of by my friends for having an unreliable Audi. Glad we were all wrong hehe)
