help! weird electrical problem...(edit)

so last nite i go to meet with a few friends. i was waiting in my car (there were 3 other ppl with me), key in ignition but not on nor on acc. when i started the car, i didnt hear my hardwired v1 go on...wierd...then one of the gurls in the back tries to put her window up and it didnt work..i thought the child lock was accidentally put on. then when i looked at the window control area, the lights werent lit! i didnt want to ruin the nite so i tried putting the windows up by locking the door (turn key till they go up) and it worked! later on i noticed my blinkers werent working, they only worked thru the hazard button. and also the hvac unit...no air and the rear defroster wasnt working either.

i checked the fuses and they all looked fine. doesnt anyone know what the problem might be? this is uber weird!!

edit: wipers and window washer switch doesnt work either!

ignition switch going bad is my guess

Check your VIN at the local dealer for a recall regarding the ignition switch.

Ignition switch.

You can repair it, but buy a new one and replace it, keep your old one as a spare after you fix it.

where is the ignition switch located at?
