I am about to bring in my car to have the windows recoded and I plan on taking out the APR chip i have and replacing it with the stock one so they dont notice it. (power wise) and I wanted to know if by switching back to the APR chip when I get home if it the windows would still work correctly (meaning roll up/down with the remote) since I am complelety changing the ECU.? QUick responses needed as I am going in in an hour!!

Those codes aren't stored by the ECU (nt)

Recoding the "control module" and swapping ECU's are...

...two seperate things. Thus the codes entered for the control module will stay in place when you swap back over to your APR chip.

I say The hell with the them, leave it in. If they say anything just change dealers.
