Rx300....not an upgraded Rav4...
My mom has one. It is an excellent car. It comes with full time AWD. It also has a nice 200+ hp V6 in it. The interior is nice and the ride are nice. Granted, it's an upgraded toyota, but its alot better than the Rav4.
I wouldn't get one, I'd rather go for the A4 or WRX.

Simple, give her the imprezza and get an S4!
Whether the money comes out of your pocket or hers is irrelevant, it's going to be all one pocket soon enough.
Buy the S4 now and you can set yourself up with a great drive and appear to be the hero as well.

the RX300 is an overpriced Camary, with bigger tires and an inept 4wd system...my parents have on in
Tahoe, and hate to drive it in the snow after seveal incidents in snow and ice. Much prefer their Audi 90 Q, but for whatever reason, they sent it to Maui to stay with their condo...too bad.
