Default Great reading (long) but I question the wisdom of removing...

the mesh on both ends of the maf.. I don't think Audi would have added that restriction without there being an a safety issue/turbo damage potential...

anyonecare to chime in if this is safe?

Default that might be true but much of the car was designed for

people who just get in and drive. the stuff many of us do change it into a track-street car where performance is a major issue. I dont think that screen does anything but reduce flow. that being said I still have mine in place but have being thinking about upgrading to a canister style intake.
