Hey Ordare...
I reread your post on G2 vs turbos a few days ago... anyway the G2 DOES make 8.0lbs of boost (maybe 8.5) when the weather is right (like 45-50 degrees, dry, low altitude) Most you typically will see is 6.5-7 lbs of boost normally. In the summer at 100 I see about 6.0 with the AC on.

What did I say it was running?
I have no idea...I thought the original G2 was 11 or so and they backed it off to around 8 max with real readings in the 5.5 lb range under typical driving conditions.
