Hi and help!

Hi - I just got a quote from Tischer Audi in Silver Spring, MD - for $825 for my 40,000 mile service. This seems too high. Does this sound right to you guys? Please help!

Waaaaay too high. What did they offer to do in the service?

You can go to a private mechanic and get it done for MUCH cheaper.

He said oil change, replace fluids, replace pollen air filter, safety inspection, scan computer, reset brakes (?), replace belts. It seemed WAY too high - when my BMW friends are paying around $500 for their 40,000 service.

I have a 1999 A4 quattro.

Call Audi of Annapolis...they usually crush any of the local Audi Dealers prices...in my experience. For example they were roughly 300 dollars less for the 60k maintenance
