Hi, my coolant temp gauge is dead, what could be the cause?
I have recently installed a turbo timer, and I only noticed that the temp gauge is dead few days ago. I have unpluged the electrical connections at the back and reconnect again, but still not working..Could it be something from the turbo timer installation? Everything else is working fine..Any idea?
Thanks.

i noticed mine working intermittently (sometimes it reads dead cold...then a few minutes later it will be normal...then back to cold...etc). this also started happening after installing a TT III. really strange...anyone..?

Hmmm, I don't see how that could be related to the TT, unless you damaged the connectors in the back
of the instrument panel when you took it off.
If that's not the case then most likely it's the coolant temp sensor. It's at the back of the engine next to the firewall. If you look in that area around the cylinder head you'll see a electric connector and that's where the sensor is. I think the Bently has procedures to check it.
