Hi, what happens when turbo car runs rich?

I read that it is bad for the cat. Probably puts it in overdrive or something, not sure.

I've read that a lot of drag racers run stock because they don't utilize a cat and won't ruin anything. Running rich is WAY safer than runnin lean so they go a little on the safe side to prevent detonation. This is especially true with turbocharged cars or cars running NOS.
