Default hooked up egt gauge, working, pics

blah.

here's the probe, about an inch from the compressor outlet
<img src="http://1.8t.org/~kjgarreau/probeintocat.JPG">

the gauges all work, hurrah.

They all work, finally. If anyone needs help/advice on getting them installed, let me know. I might do a tech write-up, who knows.

Default whoa, did you dremel that? You should replace whatever was covering that.

That's a "hard to reach" location if you want to take a quick peek. Granted, mine is in a poor location right now, but they're being relocated to the top of the radio.

I would mount it in a vent, the a-pillar, or on the steering column.

Default previous owner installed it

is there a kit i could buy to mount my guage in the vent? (don't want to buy another guage) or would you just dremel a hole in the vent and fit it in there?

i was thinking either a vent mount, or on the steering column.

Default You can pull the vent off and cut it yourself, or someone around here was selling a pod

I think it was like $25... OverSpun might have been the one selling them? He's on Audizine a lot, that's the best place to find him.

If you screw up those vents, be careful... they're like $90 apiece new or something ridiculous.
