Default Houston area A4 owners..learn about rear foglight!

I saw 3 of you that I passed up at night in my '00 1.8T driving around with the rear fog on on a clear night. Do you people not know what the right button is for??? Its annoying to see some people that don't know the car's features. Sorry I had to vent.

Default Not me. That would annoy me too. Rear fogs for heavy fog or rain only.

Default on the same line...

My rear foglight only lights up on one side. Is this ok? or is it supposed to have one on each side?

Default That is normal....it's only on the driver's side of the car.

Default houston here, i usually drive w. the front fogs on for better visibility

don't bother with the rear fogs unless there is a downpour. the way i drive, i figure no one will be that close behind ;-)

Default I added a second one, but only use them in heavy fog. I promise!

Default Why?

is there a specific reason for this? or what's up? I've had a few people telling me "hey, one of your tailights is out". Is this to actually catch their attention during extreme weather conditions?

Default I've only noticed about a 10-15% "rear fog light on" ratio here in Houston...

...but it sure is irritating to be behind one.

Default

so they don't mistake it for a brake light.
