Just order another fog light button, and swap the dummie out for the real one. should cost ~$40

They're just plastic covers. Like Anand says, you need to get fog switches.

Ahh yes, for those annoying "people" who keep telling the driver to slow down :-)

How do you get power to this new button?...
I have read other people using existing buttons that are already powered to have them do other things. But what if you add a new fog switch in place of the dummy button? Do splice it into the power of an existing button or run it all the way to the fuse box??? Any F.A.Q.'s on this?

Splice into other buttons for the button's illumination ONLY. . .
This way, your new button will light up and dim along with the rest of the dash. Then wire up the new fog switch as you would a normal fog lamp install.
James Wu

Hey, I was wondering if you had any more progress on replacing the dummy switch and installing and powering a switch that worked? Below is the link in the forum where you were talking about it. I am still interested in what you find out. You can email me at taz@presto.com if you prefer.
