How do you bleed the coolant lines after refilling?
#5
There's a couple hoses that bring and return the coolant from the heater core.
It's located between the 1st and 2nd firewall. There's a plastic shroud around them. Just pull that back. Bleed from there.

donno
but what i did is run the car for couple min. twist cap open(slowly), repeat until the coolant lvl stablized.
Scared me a bit when the temp gauge shoots all the way up, and I thought I had installed the thremostat in reverse. /1st time doing it so yeah.....

There is a bleed hole on one of the hoses that were mentioned earlier
The bleed hole is in the middle of a 1/4" white dot on the one of the hoses that go to the cabin from the engine at the top, middle of the engine bay.
You move the hose clip back and then slide the hose back until the bleed hole is exposed e.g. you can poke a nail thru it. Then you fill with coolant via the reservoir until it starts to flow out the bleed hole. You will need to raise the coolant reservoir as high as you can to have enoungh pressure to get the coolant all the way to the bleed hole. Push the hose back on all the way and slide the hose clamp back in position.
Then you run the system until the hoses feel warm and check the level.
