how do you reset a chipped ecu and will it affect my vag programming???

Default Here's how...

...open the black environmental box that holds the ECU. Disconnect the two cables going into the ECU. Leave disconnected for a minute. Reconnect and put cover back on black box. Turn key to "On" position (don't start the car) leave it there for 3 minutes. Turn off and finish putting everything back together under the hood. Drive off...your ECU is now back to the values stored in the tables...any "maladaptation" which may have occurred since installing the chip has been cleared from memory.

You will not lose any special functions which you may have had added to the control module.

It's for all chipped cars; Tipt adaptation is something different
