Default how do you tell if you have a misfire without a vag.com? (long)

so today after school i went out to Futrell Autowerks and grabbed an APR chip. I love it more than the car and already have the speed bug for more power. i had a long drive home so it was fun also.

My question is that when id stomp on it in 4th and 5th gear there was an ever so faint "stumble". i couldnt tell if it was the small potholes in the road just catching the tires slightly or if it could be a misfire.

I have had rough idle for a while and kind suspecting one of the coilpacks cause i dont know if theyd ever been changed. the slight stumble is making me anxious to find a vag.com, but no money right now. Any ideas? or should i just find a shop to check it out?
TIA

Default you can check the voltage of the knock sensors

or the car will throw a code for it.

Default my car is misfiring quite a bit under load...your best bet is to vag it

it didn't even throw a code, but it is running WAY lean. you should run some logs to see if it's one cylinder in particular, or across the board. check knock sensor voltages and lambda values. I found out that my knock sensors are going buck wild under WOT because my mixture is leaning out bigtime. I logged my maf readings and i'm coming up really short of what it should be. i think my maf is shot, which is going to cost me a bit to fix. hopefully you won't to replace any expensive parts. your best bet is to vag it though so you can figure out exactly what is going on. good luck
